Shadows from Midgard marks the epic return to the world of Norse legend, following the Tales from Midgard. This second Viking-inspired release brings together the best viking tales, newly reworked, remixed, and remastered for a richer, more cinematic experience.
From the thunderous “The Vikings Path to Contrition” now featuring the hauntingly beautiful violin guest appearance to the serene reprise of “On the Path to Asgard”, each track has been meticulously crafted by Michael Nielsen, who performs every instrument, from guitar and bass to tin whistle and orchestration. The result is a unified saga of battle, loss, and glory, blending folk instrumentation, symphonic grandeur, and raw metal energy.
