Tondonia Grand Reserva, Red
Traditional Red Rioja aged 8 years in oak barrels.
Lopez de Heredia
The bottle neck is waxed like an old Vintage Port. The label is very
"rural"; simple, nothing like those fancy American labels out there. The
cork is moist. From the bottle is unleashed magic, enchanting your mind
immediately. The colour is beautiful amber, and again you're powerless
to its charms. Impatiently swirling and raising the glass to the nose,
stirs the heart and you see basements of oak barrels and walking the
beautiful fields in the summer and smelling the flowers. Taking a sip
and letting it cover you tongue and palate, tickles your body, and fills
your heart with pleasure, wishing you could keep it there forever. But
wait, there's more in the glass. Ah, the finish is so smooth, and a
soothing taste of vanilla, the images of white flowers waving gently in
the sun... it just stays with you. Another sip, oh my ..., this is
divine! Ah, there's a cherry tree and an orange tree. And some
strawberries on the ground. I'm totally lost to its enchanting and
subtle power, which caresses me so smoothely.
